I don't know how soon Uny will get back to you, or me, for that matter. But I thought I'd give ya a jingle. The coffee does need to be ground. I do it, like Uny said, bring it to a boil, and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes, I keep the lid on it while its simmerin. And you don't want it too warm. Ouch!
Many moons ago... I used the commercial coffee brewer,and learned that I needed to run it through twice. I'd brew it, let it cool and run it through again. It was the only way that I could get the 'gurgly' results that Uny talked about. Yes, I use a stethoscope too. It's great, cuz then you know if the liver is truly flowing or if it's tight... momo
