...if you haven't opened that coffee maker (or even if you have), box it back up and get a refund :)
When doing coffee enemas, we bring the coffee/water to a boil, then let it simmer for 15 minutes (to get ALL the oils and goodies out of the coffee). Then we strain it through a fine mesh metal sieve (so that the goodies don't get stuck in the paper filters), cool to 'body comfortable temperature' and do yer thing.
Running it through a coffee pot is better than nuttin', but I'm sure you want to get the "good results", so now you know the "good way" :)
