Brother - this is what I was raised on and spent most my life immersed in. It would have never changed if I had not hit the outer walls of this belief system.

Hmm belief system - an world painted for us by those who came before us. I am drawn to Dorothy and the world of OZ's. I loved that movie as a child as well as I was strongly drawn to the matrix as an adult... At the time it was entertaining but there was more there - I just could not put my finger on it...

I have found that beliefs (for me, are walls to mental /spiritual growth.

Here is a helpful thought :

Truth is like the foundation of a house built on bedrock. No matter what thoughts/ideas are thrown at it - it shall stand strong - it needs no assistance for it is self supporting....

Beliefs are as a house built on sand... We must fight to hold fast to these unproven beliefs of truth... causing mental constipation so to speak....

So lets move to "freedom and democracy". hmmm how pleasant these words are. But lets put them under the microscope for a minute...

You and I are "free" to do what ever we like - within the world we are accustom to... born into...

Let me explain. Clearly you believe in what the bible teaches, and you believe that the bible is the word of god, and you believe that through Jesus you can have eternal life in a heaven -(if you believe and then try to live by his guidance)

This is the majority of the USA's belief system... This is "A MATRIX" or a perceived belief system. It existed before you were born - you were taught it through your parents, church, and state run schools...

We end up in taught thinking patterns. Following a logical path. I am not saying that there is anything wrong with this. I am just saying there are an infinite amount of paths we COULD choose to take.

Every 24 hour period we sleep and wake - this could be thought as - going to sleep as dieing and waking up as rebirth. A new day - free to make new choices - free to experience this wonderful life in new ways... Or free to stay as it has been from childhood... This is the wonderful thing - we can choose our own paths daily if we would like.... But only if we are not blocked by fear. Fear kills freedom. The fears we experience - we can overcome them all.... for many fear is what controls them. Fear kills ones power to choose their future... To pick their own path...

Fear kills personal freedom....
