Re: My "Aggressive" kidney cleanse recipe that's working great!

This is a very interesting to me. I started on raw foods in May 2003, and have done quite well in staying on it. I really love eating this way. I craved Watermelon so just about everyday I'm eating about 1/2 of a whole watermelon..but the seedless variety. So when I saw the info about Watermelon seed tea, I bought a Watermelon with seeds. I ate 1/2 of it, while removing the seeds. Then I cut up some of it with the seeds to use in my blender. I'll try that today. I dried the seeds, ground them up with my grinder and seeped 1 teaspoon of the seed mixture in hot distilled water. I added a peppermint tea bag too..for more flavor. It was good. I have lots of seed mixture to make about 12 cups of tea.

I figure I craved watermelon for a reason, but the seedless variety wasn't doing it for me, which was a kidney cleanse. I have had back pain on the right side only, traveling down around my hip/buttocks with a small numb area on my lower thigh. That area of numbness gets a sharp pain sometimes when I twist or jar my back a cerain way. Kidney stone(s)may be the problem?

I go to a Naturopathic physician for the first time in July. I'm also hypothryoid and would like better care for it especially now that I'm getting healthy on the raw food diet.

Too long?...sorry:)
