I can't find anything that says you have to refrigerate SF...Re: Kickin' Hot Cayenne...Re: Question for Uny; Storing Greens

My waiting-to-mix herbs are sitting in a bedroom closet (and OMG they smell so good :-D). When mixed, they will still sit in the closet till I'm ready to use them. I can't find anything in the Schulze literature that says to refrigerate Superfood, and I don't see anything on the RK labels that say anything about refrigeration. I assume whatever we order from RK is going to be consumed in a month or two, so we aren't worrying about long term storage, are we? I don't see any harm in refrigerating it, but I don't see any harm in not refrigerating it, either.

Common sense tells me you don't want to keep it in your attic or a hot car in the summer. I assume your house doesn't get warmer than 80 F, either. My pantry shares the wall with my dryer, so it gets really warm. I never put anything I really "care" about in my pantry because of this.

I KNOW you never want to heat anything (intentionally or not) above 110 F or you'll kill it.

If Uny says differently, we'll both learn. :-)

Great questions, Palaecro!

Luv ya,

Wings
