If there is anything but H2O in the water it is not still pure.

And it's not a false low of pH. Since carbonic acid is a real acid.

I'm not stating that the little amount of carbonic acid that will form in the distilled water will cause any issues. I'm exposing the holes in your post that contradicts itself.
