MD, I think the problem arose because of your attack on a whole group of people, in this case muslims. Not because of anything said about Obama. Politicians are fair game, they know it, and all U.S. administrations since LBJ have had people tossing verbal grenades at them. The statement, "MUSLIMS ARE KNOWN IN BUSINESS AND PERSONALLY TO BE THE ULTIMATE LIEING BASTARDS YOU'LL EVER MEET IN A DARK ALLEY", is clearly an opinion, and one you could probably make about any group in the business world - white, black, Christian, Jew, Muslim etc. Money is money, human nature is human nature, and dishonesty and fraud know no barriers. There are plenty of people on these debate boards who are convinced that Jews and Zionism are the root of all evil today, so they would probably disagree with your statement.

I am not going to bust your chops MD. I have put up (much) stuff that I have later regretted. I still put up stuff I regret. And you are known to throw some zingers out there to get things rolling and stir the pot a little. So I can't say I know your true feelings, but I would hope that you could at least see the other side of making a statement like that. You can bet if some liberal used that exact quote on curezone but substituted Christian for Muslim there would be many people up in arms, as they should be. Labelling and pigeon-holing large groups of people can get you into trouble. Tweet
