Re: Does Baking Soda + Electric Toothbrush = Bye Bye Tooth Enamel?!
i apologize for not replying sooner - i don't receive the notifications letting me know when someone has replied to my threads and, i figured this thread had died down...
as for the troubles with my teeth, i finally settled on a routine. in case anyone wants to know, it's probably complicated but... i swish 1 tablespoon nutiva (the only brand i trust) coconut oil then (after spitting), swish gargle with warm
Sea Salt water (that i've mixed earlier), spit and repeat with a fresh mouthful of the water, spit and do it one more time ...then i put a dab of coconut oil on my toothbrush and dip it into the
Sea Salt and, brush.
to my shock, after doing this one time, i accidentally discovered a SHOCKING amount of plaque set between my back teeth so i was freaked out that despite this whole routine it wasn't getting my teeth clean so i follow all this with _flossing_ and either another salt water swish or another coconut brushing and, i'm worried about the plaque but, i'm doing the best i can.
overall health wise, i continue to have chronic problems with middle ear infections, glands, feeling under the weather, and just generally crummy - but i do feel like oil pulling is something good i can do for myself (and i feel more at ease, no longer using fluoride toothpaste to brush) and for such a minimal expense and small amount of time, i'm going to keep with it...
thanks for checking in on me ...you are appreciated~
