Re: My Dry Skin is Back - What's The Deal?

I spent several hours reading about hypothyodism and remember that my sister had gotten Grave's Disease so hers is definitely hypo. I took my temperature (after I already read this and was up and moving around) and it was 97.1. My mother has always had the same body temperature issue as well. We are always cold.

I hate going to doctors (they always make me sicker) and it if is hypothyroidism, which sounds somewhat likely, I really don't want to take drugs for it.

I have been reading about coconut oil and hypothyroidism so I am going to start taking that internally as well as OPing with it again and see if my temperature doesn't raise and if my skin doesn't improve. What do you think about that? Do you have any other ideas?

Funny how this thread took a little turn.

Thanks for opening up my eyes to something I would never I have figured out on my own. It is much appreciated!

Leela
