New 'planet' found - Sedna! Inuit Goddess of the Sea Myth

Some interesting astronomy/astrology news today! Astronomers have found a new planet - way beyond Pluto.

Pluto is 2,300 km wide and this new planet, Sedna, is 2,000 km. Astronomers are still arguing over whether Pluto is a planet or not...but whatever label you want to give Pluto - to astrologers it sure packs a punch!

Interestingly the astronomers chose the name Sedna for this new planet. Sedna is an Inuit Goddess of the Sea!! Ooooh that sounds like good symbolism! Another female-energy planet. And it's wonderful that a name/symbol was chosen that wasn't the usual western mythology....that we're including the Inuit ('Earth-Keepers' - remember the Hopi Prophecy about including the Indigenous people?) is a wonderful symbol in itself.

Anyway, this is something to think about. I wonder what Sign Vedna is in right now? hmmmmm...
