Regarding neck injury and some comments..
Unyquity,
About my neck injury. I went to a chiropractor in June of last year as I was experiencing some problems. Chiropractic had helped me a lot in the past, so I went back to the same Chiro that I'd seen some years before.
Well, he did a manual neck rotation to adjust the atlas vertebrae, and it ended up tearing up my neck. There was definitely torn muscles, ligaments, and I'm not sure what else, but I was in severe pain starting the next day. It got so bad I went to the ER for painkillers and to get checked for arterial dissection as I had stabbing knife-like pains up into my head. (This was right before I found natural healing and completely gave up on mainstream med, by the way)
Anyways, over time the pain became somewhat tolerable most of the time, as it healed over slightly, it seems.
I have a lot of pain in my neck still to this day, even though its been almost a year since the injury. You can physically see where the tears in the muscles/ligaments are, slightly behind the carotid sinuses mainly.
When I exercise, get a headache, get sick, etc., the pain in that area increases. It seems like a stagnant area.
I don't blame the chiropractor directly for the injury. My heath was really bad during that time, so I think my tissues lost a lot of flexibility thus paving the way for problems.
As far as what I've done to treat it, I haven't come around to doing much about it, because I've been mainly focusing on increasing my overall health which was destroyed thanks to the military and bad choices I've made in the past. I'm following Dr.Sutter's program which has helped immensely when I'm able to apply it. I'm pretty sure that my body's poor injury healing ability is directly related to my lack of brilliant health, but since my health is moving in a good direction I've been thinking more about what I can do to restore my neck and the rest of my old problematic injuries.
This is where my interest in BF&C comes in.
By the way, my order came in today, and I tried out the Deep Tissue Healing Oil, and Wow, I didn't expect that. It does get quite hot, but it gave me relief, so I think I'll definitely benefit from regular use of it.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.
