After 1st week

Before the end of the week, the mouthpiece really wasn't noticeable in the mouth after the first few minutes. And drooling was much decreased. I'm still bothered by dry mouth because of the lips relaxing open when asleep, but it's manageable now. However, at the end of the week, I forced my jaw back into position immediately after removing the mouthpiece, and caused myself some TMJ pain. So I'm postponing the mouthguard until 2-3 weeks to let things heal up again before trying again. Definitely slowly let your jaw relax in the morning after taking out the mouthpiece and SLOWLY work the bite back to normal (which WILL occur within the first hour of the day). Don't make my mistake :(
