I hope what I'm about to share gives you some "emotional support", as that's what it's intended to do :)

This is YOUR family, and your VERY precious child. A diet high in Sugar and other poisons will destroy her chance for vibrant health and the freedom and future that entails.

So, your wife is undereducated and/or selfish - she'd rather eat in a way that satisfies her 'persnickety' taste buds, than learn, change her bad habits and destroy the health of your/her beloved child. It's time you take action...and I don't feel you need to do it in an apologetic manner. (you don't need to be rude, of course...but firm?! ABSOLUTELY).

Your family deserves better. Sometimes in life we HAVE to stand up and stand firm for what we know is right. If we don't, there will always be consequences for our inaction. And in this case, those consequences will be the health of your precious child.

I advise you to follow what you know in your heart to be the truth (based on the love for your daughter & family). This is not a situation (the health of child incapable of making her own choices) where it's okay to be "politically correct" with your wife & inlaws (in my opinion).
