Something else to consider is what role inflammation may play in this, and if that kind of response could be coming from a reaction to something you're eating. There are various Elimination Diets people have come up with to try and address such things. For example, it took me years to strongly suspect wheat as a problem in my diet, and then a lot of research to figure out how to completely eliminate it. And even then, it was trial and error, before I realized exactly what response it was producing in my body. It had to be completely out of my system for a few months before I felt sure of what it had been doing.
