yes, you didn't mention that toxins from the colon will be reabsorbed on a fast, but I thought it worth mentioning as it is a common fallacy.

It is also noteworthy that the body will use its process of "autolysis" by burning those substances within the body in the inverse order of their importance by sacrificing the least essential things first, such as: morbid matter, growths, effusions, and toxins, while conserving the vital economy as much as is possible such as: minerals and vital tissue that comprises our bodily organs.

In addition, the body will also extract as fuel those effluent materials found within the bowels (Intestine) while fasting, depending on the fasts length, which includes any or part of the alimentary canal from the stomach to the anus.

Some of the alimentary canal reaching into the colon will be a "closed shop" and not accessed by the body in the use of fuel until the very latter stages of a fast and the threat of starvation, and where the body knows best in its innate wisdom, just how to prolong life as far as possible before entering the phase we know as destructive starvation and death.
