Re: Enema aspect
Hi Chris,
I happen to disagree with you on this point, but i offer you my respect. Your knowledge and the information you provide in this forum is exceedingly valuable to me and by all means to many others.
re: "BTW. an enema is pointless, and serves no purpose except in cases of extreme and long lasting constipation prior to the beginning of a fast."
In terms of a person with normal bowels going in, believing the enemas will strengthen their bowel capabilities, it is likely pointless in that respect. But is it really so worthless to rinse out the toxins in the colon since it is the only place we can? If a person such as sacristia (and myself among others) is made to feel far more comfortable through the enema, can you conclude with such a high level of certainty that the enema is of no value whatsoever? Is this really such an opened and shut case to you?
re: "Fasters who have used the enema during their fasts usually experience sluggish and lazy bowels thereafter, to those who haven't, which is as sure sign that this "interference" was unwarranted.
This research could be skewed. The person who wasn't doing enemas had more to poop out and so they could have had a head start in that way. in my own experience, after a 10 day
Water Fast with perhaps 18 enemas, almost immediately upon eating fruits and vegetables, i was pooping like a champ.
re "There is absolutely no build-up of toxins or "autointoxication" from the digestive tract on a water fast: this is a fallacy that has to be put to rest and complete nonsense."
If this is true, why each time i do an enema do i get a ton of stinky very dark stuff out? If this is not junk that should be leaving my body, what is it, stinky dark nutrients? And if the toxins in the colon were not reasably substantial, why do i (and sacristia and others it seems) feel so much better after rinsing them away?
I am not saying he body is not capable of dealing with this on it's own. I just believe the body has to work harder to rid itself of these colon toxins if forced to do so and merely believe that rinsing toxins out of the colon twice a day in a
Water Fast is useful... at least it has been for me. In terms of my own personal comfort level as compared to
Water Fasts before i embraced enemas this has been indisputable.
re: "Do animals use enemas whilst fasting?"
Might this not have something to do with their physical limitations? Should we humans not use toilet paper because the animals don't /(can't)?
re: The "let it alone plan" is far more efficacious in the process of elimination, and where most toxins that are not eliminated by the bodily organs are "burnt" as a source of fuel by the body."
I believe with all my heart the body would burn these toxins eventually, but i'd rather rinse them out, grin and bear my detox symptoms at a lesser level of intensity, while i believe aiding my cleanse by rinsing away waste from the only place i can, and let my body instead direct it's focus towards the other toxins which i can't reach.
