Hello Anon!!!!!!!!!!
Well, I read your post and went on to answer other posts on this website, but kept thinking about your post and had to come back.
So, I guess I am just supposed to put in my two cents!
I am a Libra and I am married to a Capricorn. I am very much a perfectionist and my husband is a total slob. (But he is a cute slob) We joke about it all the time. He can be sitting in a chair and within five minutes, he will look around as if in disbelief that he could actually make such a mess. I wait on him hand and foot. (sorry ladies, but I actually enjoy it)
I am very organized and he is very disorganized. We are very opposite, but happy. It may have something to do with age and this being a second marriage for both of us. I am also older than my husband. (In fact, I am beginning to wonder if I'm not the oldest one on this website--Ha)
I am very grounded in my life. I always have been. My major in college was psychology. I have always had a gift for people and am pretty good about reading people--even on this website. I never make a judgement call. I weigh both sides of an issue before I make a decision and then once my mind is made up, it very seldom changes.
But, mention a party and my ears perk up. I have always been that way. I can be a pretty social butterfly. My husband is NOT. For him, an exciting evening is watching a golf game or the Altanta Braves on TV. (His Christmas gift from me was a 53" projection TV--He says his life is perfect now! Ha) He has just accepted a great job--a job that came to him. Next weekend, we will go to New Orleans to meet his new boss. Want to know the first thought that crossed my mind?!! FRENCH QUARTER!! MARDI GRAS!! BARS OPEN ALL NIGHT!! PARTY CITY!! So, that's the wild Paulette coming out. Ha
One of my best friends (born on the same day--same year) recently moved from Chicago to the east coast---on a whim. Her youngest child graduated and she had nothing to tie her down, so she just left. I think that's the coolest thing! She even went on a cruise a few years ago and met a guy from Turkey and married him on a whim. Of course, it didn't last, but what memories she has! Just this week, I have another friend who "met" someone on the Internet (a couple of months ago) playing some game they both enjoyed. She left two days ago and flew to Sweden to meet him. (She left her husband, too) The wild streak in me thinks that is super cool, but the practical side tells me of the hurt she is causing her husband, not the mention the uncertainty of her future.
I love being a Libra. We are just about the coolest of cool.
Paulette G.
