You might want to reconsider something...you ARE psychic/intuitive/have a 'still, small voice' and gut feelings...EVERYONE is and does! As children we all have these abilities...and only bury them as the process of socialization, education and conditioning takes hold...when we are taught to attend to things outside ourselves instead of what is going on internally. As increased focus is placed on the development of our conceptual abilities... which have a denser energy...they crowd out the subtler energies and it appears that we have 'lost' our earlier ways of 'knowing'...or never had them to begin with. It is there and you can recover it! But it may help to think of it as an un-learning process rather than adding something new. Meditation can be a key...over time it allows you to quiet all the chatter of the intellect so that you can once again 'hear' yourself. The analytical mind would like to think that it runs the show and is the primary means of knowing the world. Meditation helps to put it back in its proper place...as a valuable tool...but not the master!
