Firsty,you are NOT crazy!

I have had alot of experience{unfortunately!}of people with NPD..43yrs in fact.

My mother had it and I'm getting alarm bells going off,at certain points you made in your message..

"you're too sensitive" is something I had said to me for years..like it was some kind of failing..usually said when you are pulling them up about something they know they've done wrong

The Lack of Empathy is a huge red flag for NPD IMO

Being critical and putting you down in PRIVATE..something else my NPD mum always did..that,way when you tell others,they can downplay it,say that's not the way it was meant,I'm only joking etc..In other words,as you say,making YOU look like the crazy one..

The fact she's materialistic,show me an N that isn't,the ones I have known are VERY money orientated..

I'm interested to know if she lies continuously..as most N's are compulsive liars...

but yes,it does sound as though she has MANY of the traits..
