Re: Psoriatic Arthritis and pregnancy - help!!
Hi there! Nice to hear from someone in the same boat. Since my last message I've had a read of some of the forums, including the psoriatic
Arthritis association, and there's quite a few women with pa that have gone into remission during pregnancy. So I've made the big decision to try for a little one. I've managed to stay off of drugs for the last couple of months now, instead taking Collastin and then CMO Duoflex, which are versions of Cetyl Myristoleate that I've found has helped releive things -
www.healthy-living.org, www.bestcmo.com or
www.cmoinuk.com if you want to know more. The second site has a forum which is helpful. CMO might help you later when you've come off the steroids, but only if you have as it doesn't work with it. I also find Blue Active Gel emu oil good for rubbing into my joints. I used to be on Methotrexate until it made my hair come out, then managed for several years on Lodine anti inflammatory 'til recent side effects as I didn't want to take anti- tnf. Some days feel really hard, but I'm hanging on in there in the hope of getting pregnant soon.
So keep going and good luck!
