Re: Psoriatic Arthritis and pregnancy - help!!

Hi...I'm 30 years old, been married for a year...I currently have psoriatic arthritis...I've had it for about 4 years and am going to a fertility specialist to try and get pregnant. I am taking prednisone, voltaren, and darvocet...my rheumatologist has repeatedly said that I can take prednisone all through pregnancy, but my OB/GYN wants me to quit the prednisone before getting pregnant. That is really out of the question since I can barely move when I reduce my dose by just 2.5 mg. All that I have read says that the Arthritis will go into remission once I'm pregnant, so I am looking forward to getting pregnant and getting off the meds.
