Does the dorm have a cafe with a salad bar? You could keep veggies and hummus from a health food store (one without oil hopefully) handy for easy veggies and fruits can be convenient - any grocery store. Dorm room is a little more inconvenient if college cafe gives you poor food choices.

Being healthy doesn't have to be all or nothing. If it's difficult to do it 100% of the time, try to eat 50% of your calories from high nutrient foods, or even 30%. The average american does about 7% I think Dr. Fuhrman said? Keeping the nutrient content of food into your awareness and collecting more methods to add them into your lifestyle can help inch up that percentage and help you feel better. Once you're in your own kitchen, that helps too. Good luck! :-)
