I don't think it was detox. What finally cleared it up as a 7 day course of Antibiotics . The first pharmaceutical drug I can ever remember taking. Heck, I don't usually go to doctors at all. Seldom have colds either (about 10 years).

No, this was definitely infection; while using Iodine therapy.

I'm not dissing Iodine therapy even at the level of iodosupplementation. I'm back on 1 drop a day for awhile; then increase a little later. This is so that I can try to keep other infections away. Maintenance; so to speak.
