Re: High mercury levels..
I don't understand that urine test at all. I'm not in the medical field. From study, on my own, it seems that when the urine contains toxins like mercury it is because something is evacuating it. That's the function of urinating. This is why your naturopathic doctor (ND) must think there is no importance to it.
For example, when you do the
Iodine therapy that introduces large amounts of
Iodine into your body, there will be a large amount of fluorine and bromine in your urine. This indicates that the
Iodine is working. Check the iodine supplementation forum for information on the "iodine" doctors in their well tested clinical studies of iodine therapy for fibrocystic breast disease.
I would not personally use anything expensive for chelation. There are so many natural substances. For example cilantro, a Mexican herb used in nearly all Mexican dishes, will bind with mercury until it is evacuated from the body. It is just about the only thing the will breach the blood-brain barrier to bind with mercury there. Then there is garlic and chlorella. Talk to your ND about that.
Also, oxidizing substances will oxidize mercury essentially rendering it harmless while it is removed from the body. Iodine and
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement are examples. Kelp contains iodine and mercury as well as other great minerals. The reason to trust the use of kelp, is that it contains much more iodine than mercury, keeping it in check.
It is very important, when chelating, that you keep all evacuation routes working as well as you can; skin, urine, bowels.
