It goes the other way around too, but I don't have a smart aphorism for it.

Most inventions are "given" to us and Tesla, Rife, Reich and others are "channelers" in a way.

If society is healthy, those inventions catch on and are used for general good (e.g. internet). However, when society is ruled by warped minds, those inventions will be quickly seized and used for their own selfish purposes.

Then the rest is as the say - history, which invariably repeats itself. Evil begets evil until entire civilization is destroyed so thoroughly that there are no traces left of evildoers who were responsible for it's destruction. And then the world can start over again.

I think we are at a threshold. Hopefully stupid people of this world will realize that they cannot cut the branch they are sitting on and manage to stay at the top.
