he had a patent for an axial water pump for a water fountain and I was going to try and make one at one time. I dont know if he invented it or modified its use. basically it was like a boat propeller in a tube. It is the kind of pump used in irrigation projects were you want a large flow of water but only need to lift it a small number of feet.
