I use plain white granulated sugar, preferrably organic. I use Lipton's black tea. A few teabags of that and a couple of the berry flavored green tea is my friend's recipe. Then distilled water of course.
I think once you get rid of candida and are on a candida diet for 3 months after symptoms go away then it is safe to take Kombucha which will help it from coming back because it makes the system so healthy.
Wish I had the time to do this and not turn it into a scary Science experiment. Maybe when my energy comes back.
