Re: HW benefits [Post now finished.]

I agree, PSG,

It would be great to hear the updates, and successes, but I don't think that can/will ever happen on a large scale.

#1...This forum format is just too crowded to easily follow a few posters...let alone all the responders.

The blogs may be easier, I don't know.

I really do like the feature of seeing all the past messages of a single poster. (Scroll down to the light grey print on this page.)

#2...Most people are shy to post, often because they aren't used to writing, anything.

Some people get through their lives without even reading much...and many don't telephone others easily.

#3...Once a person does decide to post, there is a whole 'feelings' thingy to go through...will anyone respond? Did I write it good enough? Where are 'my' people?

Every different bulletin board, all over the 'net, has a slightly different 'tone'. Some boards just don't 'resonate' with us.

I have the notion that what we READ influences our speech, and thoughts, and ability to write clearly, greatly.

And it's been my experience that those who do read and respond may misunderstand...or, I may misread THEIR posts!

So far, I aim my messages to the largest audience I can imagine. I think of all those who may read in the next hundred years, each seeking answers to their own particular questions.

Who knows how long our posts on the Internet may last?

Maybe someone will read here a thousand years from now, and we may sound very quaint and backward, indeed.

Yesterday, while Googling, I read a post on CureZone that was six (!) years old. Most of the oldest posts I see here are five.

This one had been visited more than 16,000 times!

I know authors, and publishing houses, would give a lot for readership and book sales like that!

A long time ago I read that the average book sells 750 copies...mostly to friends of the author. The rest, usually paid for by the author, sit in their basement.

And, who on these boards, any board, asks a question without needing reassurance of some kind.

Humans are pack animals...we thrive on acknowlegement and validation...both giving and receiving...and feedback.

Still, there are people who love to write...love to communicate...and who practice like mad.

:D

With the advent of self-publishing improvements in technology, many more of us will get our best stuff out there...probably in innovative ways.

Many thanks for your acknowledgement and kind words, PSG.

Now, I too am seeking mercury/heavy metal chelation...partly because I haven't been able to have my teeth fillings out...yet.

But, there may be another major source of bodily pollution.

I don't have the link handy, but a very wise poster here on CureZone linked an article describing some of the extracting process for taking a 'fructose' (plant sugar) from corn.

They use mercury, and other yucky things.

More than that, this 'fructose' is used in nearly every 'food' processed by man.

If this article is even half true, we are in deep doo-doo, I think.

Here is another thread I haven't read...

Another 'detoxing' method I am experimenting with is the Himalayan crystal mineral salts bath I have been writing about all over this forum and CureZone. I feel so good after a bath in a 1% solution.

Google "crystal mineral salts" within CureZone.

Much of the explanation I came to trust came from Daisy4's report on the book 'Water & Salt' in the Salt forum "RN" messages.

...And from finally trying the footbaths, after having two boxes of it in my cupboard for three years. (Blush.)

I now agree that the skin is our most important detoxing organ.

See what you think.

My best,

Fledgling
