Oh my, does that look yummy! Is this based on the broth/soup you made before? You know, I usually make 2 or more large servings of cooked veggies and eat the left overs plain or over greens. My last batch tasted good but too salty (Braggs Liquid Aminos is stronger than Soy) so I laid it on top of spinach and that worked perfectly. The juice from the veggies served as salad dressing and the leaves cut the salt taste.
As for the bars, I suppose I could but I think they're safe. They're all raw and simple - Larabar. Ingredients might be: Dates, Almonds, Apples, Cinnamon. I could make them myself if I had a food processor that could handle grinding up some dates. Hmmm that would be much less expensive but then I'd have too much. There's another one without the Apples/Cinnamon but has Lime juice and tastes like key lime. yum. :)
It's my treat but I am readjusting to appreciate treats that aren't like processed foods, like plain carrots or a box of blueberries. Since I'm aware I like to eat the bars whether hungry or not, I just won't buy them to take home.
