There's massive amounts of money being made with that stuff.
Its makers and prescribers are absolute criminals, they obviously continue to get away with their crimes and could care less what happens to others as a result.
Unfortunately, right now its up to us to have the sense to avoid it.

The only organization that's doing anything about it that I know of is Citizens Commission on Human Rights and its been an uphill battle.
