Big Smiles!

We are following the eating plan in Dr. Cabot’s book. Our grocery bill has gone way up with all of the organic, free-range items. And the frequency of visiting Whole Foods has increased to 2-3 times a week to ensure that everything is fresh. But our taste buds are happy happy happy (as Emeril Lagasse would say). What a change! Instead of our lack of control super size portions -we now eat normal servings and are satisfied. We get full faster on this healthy diet. Not to mention that we are learning new herbs and food combinations that we enjoy. We also decided that after the eight-week diet ends; we will continue eating organic and increase our raw food intake.
My husband has commented daily that he has sound sleep and that he is gaining more energy each day. (He used to be a very light sleeper and often woke up tired) Yesterday (without my usual request for him to be my workout buddy) he said that he is ready to begin working out again. Before bed he did about 50 sit-ups. WOW!! Washboard abs on the way- smiles... Guess that I better step up my exercise routine.

Have you tried Dr. Cabot’s 8-week diet?
