Re: Mirena Questions

I thought I'd let you know how the doctor appointment went. First, I should say my regular family doctor is NOT the one who put in the Mirena. My normal doctor sent me to the second one for the Mirena only. So today's appointment was with my family doctor. She is wonderful. She listened to everything. She does not believe I could be pregnant either (but we did bloodwork to be sure), she does believe all this is because of Mirena. She said some people react well, some do not. She arranged for a pelvic ultrasound for tomorrow just so we can be sure it is properly in place. We decided on an action plan of no more than 3 months (less if need be). Assuming all is good with my test results, I'm going to give my body a few more weeks to adjust. If I do not, or help me, if things get worse, I will have it removed...then yell from the bloodly roof tops how much this thing S**KS! :-)
