There is no pain like cancer pain. I know this from being a nurse aide for just about two and a half years now (now I'm going to be a nurse). It is your father's pain and it is his decision. There are very good pain meds out there and there are there for a reason. There are techniques such as EFT emofree.com and also accupuncture as an adjunct for cancer pain. EFT seems least effective in actually curing cancer BUT it is highly effective with cancer pain. I use EFT, touch and meditation with my elderly patients.
