Re: help with cancer pain

I am so sorry to hear that. Yes we are not in charge of our parents decissions and it is hard I know. I use to watch my dad take those drinks in cans as that was all he could handle and go to the sink and vomit his guts out.

I remember the last time I saw him as I lived in another state and with tears in his eyes he leaned over the front seat as he could not walk very good to take me to the airplane. He said to me, "You know I probably won't see you again." I reassured him I would see him again but I never did. I wish I knew then what I know now but I don't and even if I lost everything I would try come high or low to force him to see the truth.

My dad suffered for eight years and then died. My sister one a year and a half. It is your choice but once they are dead, there is nothing you can do. I wish I could see my dad again. Enjoy the time you have with them and try, just try and pray day and night for a miracle and have faith that God loves you more than you love them.
