I couldn't do normal activity during my first flushes but I can now. So I'd have to say it depends on how congested you are. For me at this point the flushes are no big deal. But I thought I had poisoned myself on my very first flush. I get up and do normal things the day after my flush now, though I still stay near a toilet, just in case. I was wiped out for an entire week after my first flush. Diarhea for 4 days. I think I cut the Epsom Salts in half the next time I did a flush because of that. Each flush I'm trying to fine tune it to work the best for my body. I'd recommend you do the same for your own body.

I'm relaying my experiences to give you some hope that things will get better. Just give your body time to heal.
