i use one of my four businesses, gov'ment contractual landscaping, as a perfect example. that's the business of the four that is thriving now in a raging recession. mortgage lending is in the tank, fine art sales are in the tank, craigslist sales are humming along nicely...gov'ment contracts and related landscape business is booming! so much so that i can't take any more work. forget about the manufacturing angle you want to advance...that, right now as we speak, has nothing to do with where we are right now! you want jobs, correct? i employ. you gotta make me want to invest in you or i simply will keep what i've got and make do. talk to somebody else about making stuff people want to buy. we're never going to make things again, roky...never. doesn't make sense to talk about manufacturing when amerika will never manufacture again in our lifetimes. we need to talk about job creation. that's where i come into the picture. i have those jobs obama is talking about. it all goes through the employer. you want to re-invent the wheel...you can never go back. we aren't that nation of the 50's that made things people wanted to buy. look to the future...forward not backward...progress...be a part of the solution.
