Re: Lobelia Tincture Making or Buying

Hi Russ,
I just sent a looooong answer to Unyquity that I would have like to send to you as well ... not sure if there's a way to send to more than one person at the same time, but it's on this thread so you can see it.

Does your wife have asthma or does she use it for something else? My boyfriend has asthma even worse than me. Mine is actually not so bad, but rather annoying as it wakes me during the night and I often have to sit up for a while for it to pass.

Thanks so much for answering me so quickly and encouraging me to go for it on the tincture making. It's a little scary to become a kitchen herbalist when I'm quite unknowledgeable about all of this. Like I said, I will wait at least another week to make sure this stuff keeps working before I take the plunge, and then I will probably have a few questions for you.

In the meantime, do you use all Dried Seed (from Pacific Botanicals)?
What do you use to grind or blend it? Do you grind/blend the herb alone or with the Alcohol and ACV? What brand Alcohol do you use? I've heard Everclear being mentioned around here.

I'm excited to get started, but it is a big investment if this 'treatment' doesn't have staying power. I'm really crossing my fingers that this is the answer.

Thanks again for your encouragement!!
CJ
