Thanks for the replies. My husband and I are screwing up our courage to do the cleanse and we have decided to do it together. We need to review the details etc.

The bad pain on the right side of my abdomen subsided a little, moves around a bit, is worse after meals. This has me worried to no end. But I've decided to do the flush no matter any doctor says. As I type this I can feel the pinching and dull pain on my right side and it is not piercing at all but it is indeed uncomfortable. Also some muscle pain but it is so obviously along the same meridian, and all the way to my leg.

I've decided to go ahead with the tons of apple juice despite my glucose, I figure it is a balancing test and will gain more than I will "lose" by having a few Sugar swings.

I am very confused about the flush. What to do when. Am also wondering if I can use my own laxative or what.

My husband thinks it is funny that we will not eat for four days - I don't! He also thinks my apprehension is silly but I am actually terrified of things like nausea. I've been known to go quite ga ga at nausea, vertigo or dizziness, it makes me feel like, well, like I'm dying.

I guess it's that or the knife.
