REALLY bad breath --what does this mean?
Hey guys,
You know, my boyfriend went away on tour this fall as a music directer for a theater show. He was on the road all the time and ate mostly crap. (trust me, his normal diet isn't much better!)
Ever since he got back into town, he has had a REALLY bad breath problem!!! (unbeknownst to him!!!) It's there all the time and it has a very distinct smell to it (like bacteria, or feces or something --sorry it's so gross!) I have another friend who has always had this problem who also happens to have IBS. Lately her bowel movements have had blood in them. So I know this must be a sign of poor health.
An interesting note is that his mother has this problem, and has had it ever since I've known her. Awhile back, she had a really bad case of Candidiasis that nearly killed her (it made her have bowel movements every five minutes, so her weight was rapidly dissappearing, also had multiple food and chemical sensitivities.) She responded very well to Nystatin drug, diet control and acidophalus and is now "fully recovered". Although I wonder how her bowel and liver must still be without any cleanup. She did get really into the
juicing and taking vitamins.
Anyway, I am worried about my boyfriend. Is his diet finally catching up with him? What does chronic bad breath usually indicate about a person's health? He is currently 35 years of age, and absolutely adorable other than this most uncomely problem!
It's hard for me to want to kiss him anymore, but how does one TELL someone their breath smells like excrement and bacteria without offending them??!!?? He is NOT interested in doing any of these cleanses because he believes that everything is working perfectly right now and he'd be worried that taking some herbs may set him off balance in a bad way. (!!??)
So any information and/or advice about this would be great. Thank you!
