chronic fetid tonsillitis caused my bad breath -- tonsillectomy cured it

My bad breath has been eliminated with a tonsillectomy. Hallelujah. I am 36 and have had bad breath since I was a teenager. Although, it was much, much worse in my adult life -- probably as my tonsils became more and more infected. After healing from the tonsillectomy my breath is fresh and my tongue is really pink without cleaning it. This is because my bacteria laden tonsils are gone. I had tonsil stones mildly and my tonsils were not enlarged. However, they had a chronic infection. When I pressed on them a liquid like milk came from them. Tonsillectomy cured me. For those of you who have had a tonsillectomy as a child or others for whom it didn't work, it is possible that not enough of the tissue was removed. As we know, most ENT's and GP's do not understand the role of tonsils in bad breath. My ENT still wouldn't agree with this. I lied about taking Antibiotics seven times a year to get the surgery -- however, the tonsil were clearly infected as evidenced by the BAD breath.
