Fasting is great if done correctly. But when you first start fasting, it is difficult. I remember the first fast I did, I was so weak and sick for three days afterwards. Your body takes time. Now you had nothing but water, how much water are we talking? After you broke your fast what foods did you eat? Start a fast break it with something light. Too many break their fast with greasy, fats and breads. Mistake. You should break your fast with juices, soups or maybe some yogurt and fruit. Especially if it is your first fast.
So now your stomach is upset what can you do is to boil some water and add tons of sage to the water. Boil it like tea and drink it. This should ease your stomach in two different settings. You can add sugar or honey.
If you want to fast, start slow. Do not eat or drink for 4 hours and break your fast with a piece of fruit or a cocktail. Two days later, fast for 8 hours and break your fast. The next day go for 12 hours. Now you are broke in and you can fast as normal. Especially if your stomach is sensitive.
