Unfortunately, they don't have hot brown rice cereal out here. I find I function better when I have some carbs in the morning. In the past, I have eaten cereals with up to 10 g of sugar per serving (for a total of about 30 g of sugar for breakfast). I do feel that I absolutely need to eat a cereal for breakfast right now (or I'll give them a try and see how it goes).

I know that carbs and sugar feed candida, but is 3 g of sugar a negligible amount of sugar for only one meal in the day? Have you seen some people with candida do fine even when they have a tiny bit of sugar (i.e. refined table sugar as an ingredient in foods) in their meals?
