You need TSH, Free T3, and Free T4 levels checked. If they come back in the "normal" range, you may still be hypothyroid. The cheapest place I have found to order these labs is http://www.econolabs.com.

Also, if it were me, I would not go to a regular family doctor or an endocrinologist for this- they are completely useless and will tell you that you are normal and try to put you on antidepressants. Do not waste your money. See an osteopath or an "alternative" doctor.
It is not a good idea to get pregnant if your hormones are not balanced. Your baby needs those hormones to develop normally, and you could even cause your baby to be hypothyroid as well.
