According to my Dr. even a severe cold can cause temporary hypothyroidism. So can stress. he says in that case, it usu. reverses, with med's. within about a year. I wouldn't wait and see if it gets worse. If money's an issue, just get the TSH level tested at first (what he did with me), if that's high you KNOW you have a thyroid issue. Tweet
