You could try what was suggested in this thread, but it's been my experience that a lot of the non-prescription stuff doesn't work. I've had good luck with homeopathy. The trick there is to find a good board-certified homeopath because the field is unregulated and therefore full of quacks. You might want to just bite the bullet and go see a doctor, get the bloodwork done even if it's out of pocket, so you know where you stand. Thyroid meds are pretty cheap, Armour being about the cheapest. In any case, it's something you don't want to continue to blow off. Hypothyroidism can get bad enough to drive your cholesterol way up and can eventually cause other problems, such as heart disease.
