Those spirally threads (look like fluffy snow flakes) are used to combine things usually with Barium in it. When I did my research on Tellurium delivery it used one of those threads with barium and pseudonomas. The pseudonomas would eat the Tellurium and make it much more effecive as a mind control metal.
