Re: EDITED

I can't see any downside to it, a little money is all. I was convinced with all the good things Dean MD referenced that I went for it, never looked back.

Given strontium's abundance in the earth, and lack in municipal water supplies and the fact that all those osteo patients saw bone density increases and the boys in Ross Ohio with no cavities, I was convinced it was something I needed but was not getting enough of.

But I'm in favor of tiny amounts over extended time, as opposed to lump sum quantities at once, for the same reason I'm not too favorable on taking calcium pills. I break open one of those capsules and put it into a liter of water with a few other things, then I pour out 20 ml (1/50 liter) and dilute that up to about 12 oz. Each glass of water gives about 7 mg of SrCitrate, containing about 2 mg of strontium. I typically drink 4-5 glasses a day and estimate my daily strontium intake from water to be about 10 milligrams. Over a month, thats about 300 mg, and if the body contains a total of 325 mg Sr, as the above article sayd I've done a complete turnover in a month, in slow fashion to enable the body to figure out whatever the h_ _ _ it wants to do with the stuff !! My guess is that my bones & teeth are probably pretty tough, but who knows, I could keel over any second.

It's likely that the body would contain more than 325 mg of Sr; surely they didn't do the studies on strontium-sufficient human guinea pigs.
