Re: Seeing strange things
Hmmm.
I think i've had simliar but not exactly the same as you described.
For me, I would be dreaming about something and I continued to see it when i woke up. and i was fully awake when i saw these things and remember them clear as day.
It's only happened 2 times, if anything i was kind of in awe at the experiences and enjoyed them.
Maybe if it happened every time i woke up it would be more annoying and disturbing
The most memorable time it happened, i was dreaming about a cat jumping across these concrete posts at my old school, it was a cat with tiger like stripes. i woke up suddenly and the cat was still on my bed, iperhaps it wasn't in full colour, maybe an orange silloette, but it was there vividly. i sat up in bed as i was startled to see this cat, and this cat leaned away and clawed at me and then slowly faded away. it probably lasted 2-3 seconds at most.
I think for me, my experiences were to do with using something called a mind machine which is an electronic device connected to glasses with flashing leds which the user wears to self mediatate and lower their brain waves. i started to see some wonderful patterns and dancing shapes whilst using it. also my dreams became very life like at times.
Have you used anything simliar or done any kind of meditation or self-hypnosis since these visions started?
I'm guessing its a case that the brain obviously has the power to see things that aren't there as most of us dream, maybe some of this ability is carried over for the first few seconds of waking up.
