Re: Question about juicing Beets

I juice Beets regularly they are great for circulation and
turn my complexion rosey red.

I would say that the average Beet is about 2 1/2 inches in
diameter, but they vary widely.

The first time I juiced a Beet I juiced a small Beet about
2 inches in diameter and had no ill effects, but after that
I juiced the same size beet and had grrrreat circulation (can
tell because we live in a cold climat and my toes, fingers and
nose stay toasty warm all night), but for the next 18 hours I
felt overwhelmed by the effect, sort of like I had too much
of something added to my diet.

I usually juice Beets about every third day or so now.

Had a worse experience juicing a turnip, about 3 1/2 inches in
diameter and sharing it with my wife, felt grrreat at first, but
then was overwhelmed by something in the turnips makeup of
Vitamins and minerals. My wife had no ill effects ?
