This forum doesn’t seem to be at all active, maybe we can get it going again. I have an inversion table and it’s one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. I didn’t really have any back pain except for when I lifted something too heavy and it wasn’t really pain it was just sore. Anyway I bought the table because of the overall benefit gained from hanging upside down. I hang every day, it is so relaxing once you get used to it.
Inversion tables are not just to be used if you have back pain, there are many benefits. It relieves stress and muscle tension, it stimulates circulation, it allows joints to naturally align and decompress. The thing that intrigued me the most about it is the fact that by hanging upside down on a regular basis you can prevent the stooping that naturally occurs with the aging process.
You don’t really even have to hang upside down completely to benefit from it, I always hang completely upside down but I also put music on and just teeter kind of flat it’s wonderful really it feels like your floating on air.
I would recommend an inversion table for not only back pain but for relaxation, nothing is more relaxing to me.
If your going to check into one I would caution you to research many different brands, they are not all created equal. You can get one very cheap but you have to consider you are hanging upside down and you want to be secure in the equipment you have chosen. Cheap is not always better.
